Co-Director of Economic Policy

Mike Massingill is currently the co-Director of Economic Policy, a position he has held since August 2020 after joining as a fellow in November 2019. In these positions, he has overseen the development of solar subsidy policy LISSP and an innovative participatory budgeting policy for Fairfax County, Virginia. Outside this work at GGI, Mike is a 1st-year student at the University of Virginia, where he currently plans to study public policy. He is also a member of the Young Democratic Socialists of America at UVA.
