Raiya Nathan
Director of Public Health Advocacy
Raiya Nathan is a high school senior located in Glen Allen, Virginia. She is passionate about public health equity and social justice and has pursued various advocacy outlets to fight for reform in these areas. She has interned for political campaigns such as Abigail Spanberger for Congress and Blakely Lockhart for Delegate and has been involved with other youth-led non-profits including Diversify Our Narrative and Generation Ratify. She is also very active in her school community, serving as the President of National Honor Society and Model UN, as well as the Vice President of Key Club. In college, she hopes to pursue a pre-med track while also focusing on public health so that she can amplify the rights of underserved communities. Raiya is committed to GGI's tenets of empathy and equity and wants to fundamentally reform the institution of healthcare so that it is more accessible and inclusive for all.
